Palette sampled from B: deep petrol teal #23434C and pale sand gold #CDB37D. Note that teal is hue 193, so it is not navy, even though navy is the word the client used. The navy the client actually asked for is #1B3A5C with a muted gold #C0A15A.

The thing that matters: in B the dark color sits on the small detailed shapes, the agave and the wordmark, and the light color sits on the big shape, the mountains. Assign them the other way round and the mark goes heavy and the name washes out. That is what went wrong the first time.
